I graduate tomorrow (technically, today).

I spent the past 4 years scorning EK for its “ghettoness,” but now I really miss it. It may not be a classy prep school or a talented magnet school, but it’s the place where I grew up.

There’s not a school anywhere quite like EK, I think.

We get a lot of bad press, but I think that’s what bonds everyone at EK together - we seriously aren’t as bad as WoodTV8 would like everyone to think.

Watching the EK lipdub again and reminiscing on high school is so depressing omg

I don’t know what I want, I don’t know what I want.

I’m far too young to understand the world at all, far too removed. 

Sometimes when I drive by quiet neighborhoods, I like to imagine that there is a kid having a birthday slumber party, or playing Monopoly with their parents, or watching a really good movie. It’s just nice to think of these things, of people building memories together in little brick houses. Somewhere, someone is happy. And I think that’s enough sometimes; it’s enough that someone else is happy even when I’m not.

Everyday hung before me like crisp gems on a silver chain, all exquisite, all grandeur. All so detestably perfect in their uniformity.
