we had been searching for worlds & i’d been screaming your name but my lungs were raw, you were no where to be found. the sky changed colours from pink to grey to the end of another tiresome day. my limbs ached with the weight of an existence without you & i could hear them creak loudly with each step i took. everything inside me was fighting its way out, trying to escape their inevitable deaths because without hope there is nothing, nothing, nothing at all.
